As the CEO and founding member of Healthsense Management, TaRunda Boyce exemplifies unparalleled leadership and a profound commitment to healthcare excellence. With a robust foundation as a Registered Nurse, her career is marked by an unwavering focus on accountability, quality, patient-centered care, and cultural sensitivity. Her journey in healthcare began in 1991, evolving from roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse, to her current pursuit of a graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. TaRunda's leadership at Healthsense Management is distinguished by her innovative approach to nursing, emphasizing compassionate, holistic care and leveraging collaborative efforts to drive positive health outcomes for clients across all stages of life.
Throughout her illustrious career, TaRunda has amassed a wealth of experience across a spectrum of nursing specialties, including Medical-Surgical, Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation, Travel Nursing, Trauma ICU, Step-down, NICU, and Women’s Health. Her exceptional leadership prowess was honed in roles such as Nurse Supervisor and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and she currently makes significant contributions to the future of nursing as a Nurse Director/Coordinator for an accredited nursing program in Tennessee. This role enables her to influence nursing education profoundly and mentor the next generation of nurses.
TaRunda's dedication to the nursing profession and her impact on healthcare have been recognized with the prestigious Daisy Award, which she has received twice during her tenure as a Nurse Educator.
